2008 Beneficiary
Bana Ba Letsatsi
The 2008 beneficiary, Bana Ba Letsatsi (Sunshine Children), provides an array of services to at-risk children in Muan, Botswana. Known as “social orphans,” these children live in communities that have been devastated by the AIDS/HIV epidemic. The services offered by Bana Ba Letsatsi include the provision of basic resources, education opportunities, and job skills training. Last year, CAF donated $10,000 to this life-changing charity. This year we hope to raise even more money in support of our chosen cause, Matipwili Secondary School in Tanzania.
By supporting local artisans, CAF increases artisans’ income and enhances their communities, while simultaneously raising funds for its annual beneficiary. We hope that you will join us as we help improve the quality of life in the communities in Africa and ensure that artisans are at the heart of change.
